 Playtri Race Team 2016! It took a little time to get here but I am here ready to rock the pavement!  2016 I am here to rock this pavement and kick some butt!  

Pushing limits

I posted this on my personal Facebook page this week and I was like what the heck Imma post here also.   I hit a milestone, something I have not been able to do before. Negative splits in the pool! My coach had me do TT (time trials) 3 x 400's and this was the result:  3:04:00, 2:51:00, 2:27:00 / 100yds. I'm not a fast swimmer very middle of the pack or more then not back of the pack.  I want to change that.  This season I come to kick a$$ so watch out there now!   This can only make me a better performer and coach.  I struggle like everyone else and I have to push like everyone else.  I can't expect others to push if I don't. Let this year be the year of pushing beyond!   Coach K!  

Lessons Learned from 2015

Happy new year! I don't have a lot of medals to show but I have some lessons learned to share.  I am thankful for lessons learned and also thankful for truths being revealed.  I learned that I need to accept failures and don't get caught up with the wins.   Galveston 70.3 Austin 70.3 I learn doing just enough is NOT always enough you have to push even if it's uncomfortable.  If you don't push you can't stretch yourself to give birth to your greatness.   I have learned to read unspoken words even when hubs or kids say they do not mind me training so much.   I have learned although I have lived 46 years there is still a lot of ish I need to work on.  I have learned that the Devil and his Demons will play with your head when you are tired and stressed. It is important that you REST so you can be ready to fight that spiritual battle so that it will not manifest itself into something physical.  My Coffee No ma...
