Are you building or complaining?

Just saw something sad and disturbing.  On 35 saw whay i assume a homeless man standing over a fresh animal kill with a large stick in his hand.   The blood was bright red so it was fresh.  Not sure if he chose this life or if unfortunate circumstances has him there.  Started me to think about how we rush to get the latest and greatest for us and our kids.  Ipads, iphones, big houses, nice cars, brand name clothes, $300 jeans and we still have the damn nerve to complain about what we don't have or cant do.  Wow perspective

Scars Never Let us Forget Walking through your grief does not mean you forget. In John Chapter 5 we read Jesus asked the lame man at the Bethesda waters if he wanted to be healed.  Here we have a man who after possibly decades of being lame dealing with loss, grief and shame was asked by a total stranger if he wanted to be healed.   What you may noticed he never really answered Jesus, he sorta skirted around the question.  I do not know if it was because of fear, disbelief or reluctance that caused him to avoid answering. Like the lame man at the pool, most people we know are going through their own personal grief, loss, defeat.  With grief some people may not want to be healed because of what they feel they may have to give up.   We may feel that our loss is so great that if we let go of the hurt and pain we will let go of any connection we had with that person.  Healing means forgetting. Team No Sleep.   1) Broken sleep had to wake up to get Kavi back to Atlanta.  2) Fell back to sleep had a Cozumel Swim Panic Dream (rip tides/sea creatures).  The race period. Got up with this and other stuff on my mind. Coffee, Cheeka, on my Morning walk .  As soon as I Started singing "He is wonderful!"  Got a text saying "in ATL".   A simple reminder via text, If the Lord can get my baby from Dallas  to ATL, He can get me from Start to Finish!  He can get you from Here to There like he did for Joshua.  Hallelujah...HE IS WONDERFUL!    Now let me get ready!
