Don't take the Sugars lightly

"The explosion in prevalence was because of worldwide changes "in the way people eat, move and live," WHO said, in its first-ever global report on the disease. "
Read this article today it really upset me. This is scary and sad.
People you have to watch your weight, what you eat and get out and move. We can no longer eat the way mama and em use to eat. Fruits, veggies and lean meats. We are slowing destroying and killing ourselves. Poor relationship with food and exercise has caused this generation to be fatter, sicker, under nourished, weaker and more stressed!
"The disease directly caused 1.5 million deaths in 2012 -- the latest
available global figures -- but elevated blood glucose levels linked to
diabetes were responsible for an additional 2.2 million deaths that
year, the report said."
There is really no excuse not to invest in you. We have relied on pills and potions entirely to much to do what our bodies are created to do. Our bodies are awesome machines created to live and to move. Scripture says we are wonderfully and fearfully made! HOW awesome is that! Treat it as such!
"Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous--how well I know it." NLT http://biblehub.com/psalms/139-14.htm
I have a No Excuse Zone when it comes to health. Dont tell me what you can't do, tell me what you can do and we can work from there. Don't have a gym member ship? Step outside your front door.
Groceries are expensive, look for specials and clip coupons. There are even tools on the web that can help you prepare and plan your meals. Choose My Plate is one of them. Check it out!!
Don't know where to start? Google that ish! Heck we google everything else. Use keywords such as exercise plans for beginners. Ask somebody, we all know someone who works out, so strike up a conversation.
We have to change our behaviors and we have to start when people are young but you also have to educate yourself on how to eat and exercise right.
"To curb the intensifying burden of the disease, huge efforts are needed
to change "eating and physical activity habits," especially early in
life, when key behavioural patterns are formed, WHO said."
We need to take our health back. We have to be wise as a fox and slick as a serpent when it comes to our well being. Lets turn this thing around. One day at a time. One step at a time. I'm coach K and I approve this message!
